Shothop Demo - Game Off 2025

Shothop is a game about going fast, and using a shotgun to hop around the map. The game is inspired by older games like Quake, Team Fortress, Counter Strike, and Collectathons. This is the prototype / game loop for the game.

There is no win condition currently, and the biggest thing you can do is have fun. You are meant to move around the map and eliminate all enemies and collect all shards and keys. You may only hold 2 shots at a time, and the rest is up to you.

Go fast or die trying.

Mechanics

Aim down and shoot while jumping to get a second jump.

Jump multiple times in a row to gain momentum.

Manage ammo by using ammo pickups on the map.

Collect shards, coins, and keys.

Controls

• WASD - Movement
• Space - Jump
• Left Click - Shoot
• Right Click - Shoot Both Barrels
• Shift + A/D - Dash (On Ground)
